Chris Wernimont

Chris has 20 years experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. He started his career with Eli Lilly and Company as a Chemical Process Engineer in the cell culture fermentation and purification pilot plant in Indianapolis. During his 15-year career with Eli Lilly he had many important leadership positions such as Team Leader of Cephalosporin Antibiotic Final Purification, Associate Engineering Consultant for Human Insulin Manufacturing and Equipment & Facility Qualification/Validation Manager Major Capital Projects. He is a professional engineer registered in the State of Indiana. He has lectured extensively on the subject of equipment and facility testing, qualification and validation and incorporating GMP into project management principles for the pharmaceutical and biotech industry, and authored many papers which were published in peer reviewed publication. He is a member of the editorial board of JVT.
